The Project Outline
Because of the diverse group of participants, the main challenge was addressing the variety of learning methods: some had followed an individual program (personal training or just studied a book) (15%), some were taught in a classroom (55%), and others used an online training program (30%).
The Results of the Program
The focus of this program was on the knowledge obtained during a classroom or digital course, including: Human Anatomy, Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, Physiology of Training, Fundamentals of Applied and Kinesiology.
In total, 100 quiz questions were spread out over 3 months. All the questions had a clear introduction, a detailed question, and an explanation of the correct answer. By using this methodology, participants gathered insights on their current level of understanding and what to study further for the certification exam. Because the participants could see correct answers and were given an overall score, motivation and engagement remained high.
